[Exact](https://web.archive.org/web/20091120213601id_/http://www.exact.ee/about.html) was an Estonian web company from Tallinn, founded in early 2007 by Andre Lall, Lars Hion and Tauno Novek. The company wanted to raise the quality of web development in Estonia and worked with both local and international clients.

- Around 40 employees in 2009; 2008 turnover of 13 million Estonian kroons and a 2009 target of 25 million kroons

- Developed websites and web systems in PHP and .NET, including its own Exact.Core platform
- Developed Exact.CMS, Exact.Mailer and Exact.Intranet; Exact.CMS was used by almost 200 websites and web information systems in Estonia and abroad
- Clients and projects included SEB, Elisa, Reval Hotels, Hansabank, Riigikantselei, Arst.ee, Masterkeep and Local Labs (USA)


## My experience

- Responsible for CMS integration (LAMP stack)
- Developed SSO in the CMS for all projects using a secure protocol
- Implemented search indexing in the CMS
- Delivered short-term projects, for example:
  - `masterkeep.com` - asset management for insurance: payments, coupons, accounting and PDF reports
  - `arst.ee` - visitor questions and answers from doctors, with payment integration
  - `penosil.ee`


Introduced:
- InnoDB foreign keys for a better understanding of MySQL schemas and data integrity

Gained experience with:
- teamwork, Scrum and code-formatting standards
- database migration delta scripts
- jQuery, Mobile-ID

| Folk.ee | Estonian folk-music festival website. Built a payment module with transaction logs, connected bank pangalink systems including Nordea, and added CSV export and log filtering for the admin interface. |
| [Penosil.ee](http://penosil.ee/) | International construction-materials company. Installed and heavily customized the product catalog, built an XML parser to import product trees with images/files for seven languages, and adapted the site for 21 countries. |
